To access St. Jude MyChart Bedside, you must click “Accept” to the following Agreement. The separate St. Jude MyChart Terms and Conditions of Use also apply when using St. Jude MyChart Bedside. If you do not accept this Agreement, click “Decline.” If you decline, you will not be able to use St. Jude MyChart Bedside.
St. Jude MyChart Bedside
The St. Jude staff may offer you MyChart Bedside to access some of your clinical information while inpatient.
- St. Jude is not obligated to offer any patient the use of MyChart Bedside. We will decide whether to offer it or not.
- Use of MyChart Bedside is free.
- Some information in MyChart Bedside may be offered only for a limited time after your inpatient care ends.
- After your inpatient care ends, you may not be able to view all past inpatient encounters.
- MyChart Bedside might not include all information about your health or health care, including your care team members.
- You should not rely on MyChart Bedside information when making decisions. Discuss any issues you have with your care team first.
Tablets and Apps
We may loan you a St. Jude-owned tablet so you can access MyChart Bedside.
- You may be able to use several apps on the tablet through a personal login.
- You will not be able to download any apps that have not been preloaded onto the tablet.
- The tablet provided to you is a loaner. You may not to take it outside the hospital unit.
- You must take care to protect the tablet from loss or damage. You may be held responsible for any loss or damage you cause the tablet.
- When inpatient care ends, you must return the tablet to the docking station in your hospital room or to a care team member.
St. Jude MyChart Account
If you do not have a St. Jude MyChart account, you may create one while you are in the hospital.
Notes, Audio and Video Recordings
MyChart Bedside lets you create notes and audio and video recordings that you can access in your St. Jude MyChart account after your inpatient care ends. You can use these notes and recordings to help you remember care instructions.
- If you have allowed anyone to access your St. Jude MyChart account, they will be able to see these notes and recordings.
- The notes and recordings are not part of your official medical record. St. Jude has the right to access these notes and recordings. But care team members cannot view the notes and recordings when providing treatment.
- You may not make audio or video recordings or take photos of St. Jude staff without their clear consent. You may not record or photograph medical care being given without permission. If you do not follow these guidelines, we may suspend or end your MyChart Bedside account and your St. Jude MyChart account. We might also take other actions.
“Happening Soon” Feature
MyChart Bedside has a feature called “Happening Soon.” You may enter personal events. Please note that your care team will also be able to see these events.
Ending the Service
St. Jude can remove the tablet and suspend or end your MyChart Bedside account or any part of it for any reason. These reasons include:
- Abusing or mishandling the app or tablet
- Interfering with clinical care
- Behavior issues
- Failing to follow this Agreement
- Failing to follow St. Jude policy
We may remove the tablet, or suspend or end your access to MyChart Bedside, or both without any notice to you. We may also take other actions if needed. St. Jude is not liable to you or any third party for doing so.
All terms and conditions in the St. Jude MyChart Agreement also apply to your use of MyChart Bedside.
