The St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Niswonger Children's Hospital
The St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Niswonger Children's Hospital is located in Johnson City, Tennessee. This clinic is a joint effort of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Niswonger Children's Hospital, and East Tennessee State University.
This St. Jude affiliate clinic brings expert care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. Through the Johnson City affiliate, patients may take part in St. Jude clinical trials. The affiliate serves patients from east Tennessee, southwest Virginia, eastern Kentucky, northwest North Carolina, and West Virginia. This affiliate also has the First Regional Hemophilia Program, a state-sponsored program for congenital bleeding disorders.

“We are so thankful Emberlyn can get care at the Johnson City affiliate. The staff is so wonderful. Emberlyn loves her chemotherapy nurse. Her music therapist sent her home with a drum and some other instruments. She also loves her child life specialist. On her birthday the staff brought her a cake in her favorite color, pink. It is nice to be close and to have our family around. It’s hard to be away from home. We love St. Jude!”
