The Fertility Clinic at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides expert care for patients with diseases and treatment side effects that may affect their fertility.

Patients with cancer and other serious illnesses may have a high risk of infertility due to:

In males, childhood cancer treatment can lead to:

• Testosterone deficiency
• Infertility

In females, childhood cancer treatment can lead to:

• Estrogen deficiency
• Infertility
• Pregnancy risks
• Miscarriage
• Premature delivery
• Problems during labor

Services we provide

Our team provides guidance, counseling, and support to newly diagnosed patients, current patients, and long-term survivors.

Fertility services are based on:

• Treatment stage
• Age
• Disease status

St. Jude covers the cost of collecting eggs or sperm and storing samples until patients reach age 35.
