About Myriam Labelle

Dr. Myriam Labelle earned her BSc and MSc degrees in Montreal, Canada and completed PhD studies at the Max Planck Institute for Physiology and Clinical Research and Dresden University of Technology in Germany. As a postdoc with Dr. Richard Hynes at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she uncovered key roles for platelet-derived signals in promoting cancer metastasis. At St. Jude, Dr. Labelle leads an innovative hypothesis-driven research program that focuses on understanding how blood platelets and other components of the microenvironment impact metastasis.
