Overview

Man working in lab

Single cell sequencing technologies facilitate analysis of genomic, transcriptomic and other multi-omics data to uncover differences in cell populations and shed light on evolutionary changes. CELS-SCT provides affiliated researchers the opportunity to use single cell infrastructure to support their investigations. We consult on experimental design and prepare single cell libraries for downstream sequencing. Consultation, operation and maintenance of equipment is managed by Amit Kumar, MS.

Impact

Understanding sample heterogeneity at the single cell level has become an important component of leukemia research, providing unparalleled insight on unique cell populations and unveiling novel mechanisms of treatment resistance and relapse. The CELS-SCT has supported several impactful research programs and with many planned projects in the pipeline, will continue to be an essential addition to our core facilities.
