Srivastava Group Team

Dr. Deo Kumar Srivastava’s tenure as a St. Jude Faculty Member is one marked with a wealth of experience and leadership. Beyond managing his own biostatistical research and collaborative interests, Srivastava has contributed to the St. Jude mission through various leadership and mentorship roles. He has served as the lead biostatistician for numerous studies, including many that emanated from the SJLIFE and Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS) cohorts. His leadership guides and oversees the biostatistical efforts in several collaborations, including those with Epidemiology and Cancer Control (ECC) and the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Srivastava also acts as the Executive Secretary of the Data Safety Monitoring Board for St. Jude to ensure the safety and ethicality of clinical trials. Throughout Srivastava’s three decades at St. Jude, he has mentored and trained over 20 research professionals, ranging from Master’s-level biostatisticians to junior faculty members.
