OASIS: The Most Informative Spacing Test effectively discovers biologically relevant outliers or multiple modes in expression

We have developed the OASIS package that uses the Most Informative Spacing Test to discover biologically relevant outlier or multiple modes for expression data. The method was published by Dr. Pawlikowska (2014) in Bioinformatics http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24458951

The method is implemented in this OASIS R package written for the freely available statistical computing language R.

To Install OASIS:

• Download OASIS_0.1.tar.gz and execute the command
  install.packages("download.dir/OASIS_0.1.tar.gz",repos=NULL,type="source") in R, where download.dir is the directory to which the file was saved.
• The OASIS user’s manual explains how to use the OASIS package.
• To receive alerts regarding software updates, send an e-mail with "Updates on OASIS Software" in the subject line.
