Whitney Ziegenhorn is originally from Memphis, TN. While completing her BS in Biology at Eckerd College, she pursued an internship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a medical writer in the Regulatory Affairs Office. She transitioned to a full-time role upon graduation and focused on regulatory submissions for cell and gene therapy products. She currently works as a contract program coordinator for the Global Infectious Disease Program.
Ziegenhorn’s interest in clinical investigation stems from a desire to understand fundamental mechanisms of disease pathogenesis and treatment. She is passionate about advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care through research. She believes that expanding her knowledge of the clinical trial process will help her develop as an impactful scientist
