Megan Lilley, MD

Megan Lilley is currently in serving in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her clinical research focuses on neuroblastoma with Dr. Sara Federico.

Lilley obtained her BA and MD degrees at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital.

Lilley has received numerous honors and awards in her career, including both the Biadin Roldan Resident Teaching Award and the Outstanding Pediatric Graduate Award in June 2022. The year prior she was presented with the Quality Improvement Poster Presentation Award at the USC Residency Quality Improvement Symposium. In April 2017 she received the Third Place Pediatrics Eposter Award (AANS Meeting) and in October 2015 was presented with the Sarah Morrison Student Research Award.

Her interest in clinical research is with pediatric solid tumor patients. The focus of Lilley’s fellowship research thus far has been genetic changes that can help prognosticate risk or outcomes. By joining the Clinical Investigations program, Lilley is looking forward to honing her skills in clinical research and building a strong foundation for her future work in research as an academic pediatric oncologist.
