Dr. Jennyfer Bran currently serves as a Lead Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Bran received her medical degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala. Since her formative years as a physician, she learned how critical evidence-based medicine is in patient care.
In 2019, Bran came to St. Jude for the opportunity to apply her medical background and impact clinical research. She obtained her certification as a Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) and currently supports upcoming and ongoing cellular therapy clinical trials in her role as Lead CRA.
Her interest in clinical research stems from recognizing that this field is pivotal in driving progress in healthcare. Bran wants to make a meaningful contribution to improving outcomes and the quality of life for patients; as well as nurturing her own curiosity participating in the investigation of novel therapies.
“Enhancing my education with the Master of Science in Clinical Investigations will help me to continue advancing on a path to spearhead multidisciplinary teams that implement and conduct clinical research. This will allow me to play a role in advancing science, hone my skills as an educator, and continue to work on furthering St. Jude’s mission.”
