Amy Berkman , MD

Amy Berkman is a T-32 postdoctoral research fellow at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with her research focusing on long-term outcomes in survivors of childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer. She is also interested in intervention studies focused on improving cardiometabolic health in survivors.

Berkman received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and then attended Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. She also completed her pediatric residency at Duke University.

During her residency, Berkman was named a Duke Pediatrics R38 Scholar and awarded the YT Chen Excellence in Research Award.

With her primary training to date being clinical, Berkman joined the Clinical Investigations program to strengthen her skillset in developing and implementing independent clinical research, building a foundation for a clinician research career.
