Program Manager

Will Ross joined St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences as the Program Manager in 2025. He brings over a decade of higher education experience to this role. Before joining St. Jude, Will served as the Associate Director for Student Conduct & Community Standards at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. In this role, he managed student conduct, co-chaired the Behavioral Intervention Team, and ensured compliance with specific enrollment requirements. Will's innovative approach to student support was also evident during his time at The University of Texas at Austin. There, he developed and managed the "UT Outpost" food pantry and professional career closet, addressing food insecurity and financial hardships among students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a crucial role in adapting student support services to meet new challenges, overseeing health protocols and providing remote support to students. Will holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
