Whitney brings over a decade of higher education experience to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She has held several academic support positions at the University of Memphis and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Whitney’s dedication to higher education expanded as she moved into roles focused on graduate students. Her experience with graduate students includes roles as a graduate academic advisor, academic affairs coordinator, and adjunct faculty. In these roles, she focused on teaching essential educational strategies crucial for college success, academic advising, and interpreting institutional policies for graduate students and faculty members to improve the overall academic experience. Whitney is pursuing her Doctor of Education in Higher and Adult Education at the University of Memphis. She is committed to fostering academic success, supporting faculty and students, and contributing to the growth and diversity of higher education institutions.
