Artists, chefs, media celebrities and tastemakers alike came together for a dazzling evening of festivities last week at Britto Palace to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign.
The signature holiday campaign offers shoppers the chance to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® by making online and in-store donations or purchasing limited-edition products from the nation’s top retailers. Funds raised help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food ― so they can focus on helping their child live.
World-renowned artist Romero Britto shared, “Thank God we have St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I am so grateful to support such an amazing organization that helps spread hope, healing and love through its incredible work.”
Guests enjoyed learning about the beloved campaign and the incredible partners and products that benefit St. Jude. Guests heard from a St. Jude patient family, and enjoyed a delicious feast courtesy of celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo. Live entertainment was provided by Leslie Cartaya and guests mingled with media celebrities, including national TV anchors Pamela Silva and Maity Interiano and enjoyed a private tour of Britto Palace.
Calvo added, “I feel blessed to be able to support St. Jude for the last 16 years. Every year, it brings such joy to my family and me to travel to St. Jude in Memphis and prepare a ‘taste of home’ meal for patient families spending the holidays there who may be missing their Nochebuena meals with their extended families. Sharing food brings us together, and it’s an honor to be part of the St. Jude family.”
This holiday season, find ways to give back through the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.
