World Sickle Cell Day is June 19
Since its founding, St. Jude has been a leader in improving standards of care for people with sickle cell disease. Today, St. Jude has one of the largest sickle cell programs in the country, serving about 900 patients a year. These are the stories of a few of those patients, and one of them who was remarkably cured.
