What is World Sickle Cell Day?

#WorldSickleCellDay occurs every June 19 and is meant to raise international awareness of sickle cell disease and the challenges sickle cell patients and families experience when confronting the disease.

To recognize World Sickle Cell Day and in conjunction with Black Music Month, we invite you to join our diverse community of supporters for Inspired: Together, a 2-hour livestream event dedicated to sharing stories of triumph from St. Jude patients battling sickle cell disease, all wrapped in a soundtrack of inspirational Gospel and R&B performances.
