In high school, Nick was on track to become a pro basketball player, when he became abnormally fatigued. Doctors discovered Nick had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common form of childhood cancer.

Nick's pediatrician referred him to St. Jude. After more than two years of chemotherapy, Nick finished treatment in March of 2017. Now he is 22 years old and a junior in college.

It is not uncommon for St. Jude patients like Nick to leave high school friends, college buddies and ordinary life behind to receive life-saving treatment. It is a difficult time when college and spring break are not promised. You can bring hope to St. Jude patients by participating in alternative spring break activities.
