Fundraising resources FAQ

  1. Fundraising requires a number of resources that vary depending on the type of fundraiser you’re planning. However, all fundraisers require materials to bring awareness to the event taking place, such as the necessary forms and — most importantly — fundraisers need people!

  2. Money donated to St. Jude is used for treating patients, conducting cutting-edge research into new treatment methods, running the hospital, providing toys and games to patients, and ensuring no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food while at St. Jude — so they can focus on helping their child live.

  3. Fundraisers can take on many forms — from fitness-based fundraisers to school fundraisers and video game fundraisers. Check out our list of 50 fundraising ideas to get started and find the right match for you and your goals.

  4. Promote your fundraiser by combining digital content shared on social media and partner sites with physical materials distributed locally. Build excitement with teasers, use compelling storytelling, partner with businesses, and leverage word-of-mouth marketing. Learn more about promoting a fundraiser.
