Here is information to help you feel prepared for the weekend.

 
 
  1. Hours & Location

    • Thursday, Dec. 5 from Noon - 7:00 p.m. (We highly encourage Thursday pickup!)
    • Friday, Dec. 6 from Noon - 8:00 p.m. 
    • Location: Renasant Convention Center (255 N. Main St., Memphis)
    • Parking is available at Renasant Convention Center or in nearby parking garages
    • The Official St. Jude Merchandise are will be cashless in 2024.
    • Before you go:
      • Step 1: Download the RTRT App.
      • Step 2: Be ready with your QR Code for Participant Check-In. Your QR code willl be emailed to you on Monday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 4.

    Expo Packet Pick-Up

    • Show your QR Code at Participant Check-In to proceed through packet pickup.
      • All participants must pick up their own packet at the Expo. The only exception is a parent picking up a packet for their child who is under the age of 18.
      • Photo I.D. is required.

      • Merchandise is available for sale at the Expo only, not Race Day.

    • Health & Fitness Expo is open to the general public.
    • Event Guide is available at the Expo and online.
    • Spectator Guide, including how to navigate race day, is available online.
     
     
  2. Plan Ahead

    • Pack your necessary race attire (clothing layers, bib, safety pins, etc.) the night before and leave valuables at home.
    • Gear Check is available adjacent to the finish line to store items during your race as long as they fit into the clear bag that is provided to you at the Expo. No exceptions.
    • Be downtown and parked no later than 6:15 a.m. Visit stjude.org/marathonneighbors for parking information and download the WAZE app for real time road closure navigation.
    • Weather or other contingency: Marathon officials will comminucate with all runners via text, email and Facebook should there be a weather delay or any other issue that may impact the race start or completion.

    For your Family & Friends

    • Prior to race day, determine your runner re-unification location (use the designated Runner Reunion area in AutoZone Park adjacent to left field).
    • Visit stjude.org/marathonneighbors for best spectator spots.
     
     
  3. Start Times & Locations

    • 5K/10K start: 7:00 a.m. (B.B. King Blvd. & Madison Ave.)
    • Marathon/Half Marathon start: 8:00 a.m. (B.B. King Blvd. & Beale St.)
    • Start procedures:
      • Make sure your bib is affixed to the front (not back) of your shirt.
      • Enter the corral designated by the corral letter or number printed on your bib. This is based on your estimated finish time.
      • Please adhere to your assigned corral. If you'd like to go slower, then you can move back. Runners are not allowed to move to a forward corral.
     
     
  4. Stay Hydrated

    • There are hydration stations located throughout the course every 1 - 11/2 miles that are stocked with water, Gatorade, Vaseline, first aid kits and portalets.
    • If you haven't trained with Gatorade or GU Energy Gel, or used them before, please proceed with caution.

    What To Do If Medical Treatment Is Needed

    • We urge medical caution by all runners, particularly first timers. Don't go beyond your physical limits.
      • If medical care is needed, please notify hyrdation station personnel, race officials or law enforcement, all of who are stationed throughout the course.
      • Ambulances will be mobile on the course and a medical tent is located at the finish line.

    Safety & Security is Everyone's Responsibility

    • If you see something out of place or suspicious, say something to a race official or law enforcement.
      • Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies will be present during all event weekend events.
    • Anyone under the age of 16 who is attending St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend events must be accompanied by an adult.
    • A designated Lost/Separated Child Reunion spot is located at the Information Booth in AutoZone Park Plaza.

    Be a Kind Participant

    • Stay on the right side of the road if you are a slower jogger or walker, and let faster runners pass you on the left.
    • If you are a faster runner, please indicate you'd like to pass with an "on your left" message as you approach from behind.
    • Thank the thousands of volunteers and cheer station teams who are giving their time to ensure all participants have a fun and memorable experience.
     
     
  5. Race Results

    Runner Food & Beverages

    • Runners will receive water, Gatorade, fruit and snacks upon crossing the finish line, and then receive soup, pizza and additional beverages inside AutoZone Park along the first base concourse.
    • Family and friends are not allowed to follow participants through the runner food and beverage area.

    For Your Family & Friends

    • Non-runner food and beverage is located in the Finish Festival area in AutoZone Park (adjacent to left field)
    • Food trucks (with food and beverages available for purchase) are located here along with selfie stations and games for the whole family.
    • Restrooms along the left field concourse are available for use by family and friends.
    • The Finish Festival area is the only designated runner reunion space within AutoZone Park.
     
     
  6. St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend

    • St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is the largest single-day fundraising event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

    St. Jude Heroes Program

    • This event allows every runner to raise funds for St. Jude.
      • The St. Jude Heroes program provides the opportunity for runners to commit to a certain fundraising level and earn exclusive benefits and race-weekend perks.
