Wherever you live, you can volunteer for St. Jude! For those outside of the Memphis area, you can volunteer with us in your local community — virtually, in office settings and at events — by supporting fundraising events, working in donor relations and helping with administrative work.

If you live within 50 miles of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., and are 18 or older, you may be eligible to support patient and family experiences at our campus. Learn more about on-campus volunteer qualifications.

Meet St. Jude patient Natalie

In 2022, Natalie’s mom noticed that her daughter, who was just 16 months old at the time, had suddenly stopped using her left arm. Natalie was diagnosed with a rare high-risk form of neuroblastoma, a cancer arising from nerve cells. Thanks to St. Jude and supporters like you, Natalie's family never received a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. She now has no detectable cancer.

Why support St. Jude

Children icon

Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.

Personal fulfillment icon

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

Financial savings icon

Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you help give kids with cancer around the world that chance. Together, we can save more lives.
