To advance cures, we conduct some of the world’s most innovative research on pediatric diseases and related biology, both in our faculty labs and in massive collaborative initiatives such as the Pediatric Cancer Genome Project. Our scientists and research programs also receive substantial support from competitive external grants and awards.

Superb Resources and Facilities
The resources and facilities at St. Jude are extraordinary. Shared resources and cores expand the capabilities of each lab, freeing you to explore new research directions. Hands-on training is available if you are interested in mastering new technologies or techniques.
The beautifully landscaped St. Jude campus has more than a dozen buildings for research, patient care and education, and is continually expanding. As well as state-of-the-art faculty labs and core facilities, the campus is home to a biomedical library with access to more than 4,700 journals; a Global Education & Collaboration Center; a chemical library of more than 800,000 small molecules; and a current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility.
Expert Mentorship
As a scientific trainee, you will have the opportunity to work directly with an adviser from our renowned research faculty. The more than 200 members of our faculty work in a broad range of fields spanning basic and translational research to clinical care, and include a Nobel laureate, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigators, and members of the National Academy of Sciences.
