St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is accelerating discovery. By driving breakthroughs at the bench, conducting the most clinical trials, treating some of the toughest cases, and training the next generation, St. Jude is more than a hospital. We are leading the way the world treats catastrophic diseases. We have a storied history, unique infrastructure, a singular mission, and everything we do is accelerating discovery.
St. Jude was founded on big dreams and a trailblazing spirit. From the beginning, the premise was daring. In 1962, when the hospital opened, a mere 20% of those with pediatric cancer survived. Children with sickle cell disease lived from pain crisis to pain crisis.
The institution has grown exponentially since its opening, but the urgency of the work remains the same.

Our Mission
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
St. Jude clinical trials emphasize the innovative and collaborative research between our doctors and scientists, who work together to find and advance cures for children. Below are a few of the trials we are actively recruiting for.
