In January 2023 Beckett began experiencing dizziness, which led to the discovery of a brain tumor known as an atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor, or ATRT. Despite the grim diagnosis, he underwent surgery to remove the mass at St. Jude.
Navigating uncertain times has been stressful for Beckett's family, but his mother found comfort in knowing she didn't have to worry about medical bills.

Chemotherapy hasn’t slowed Beckett down as he continues to show resilience and happiness throughout his journey. He will return to St. Jude every three months for scans and lab work to ensure that if his cancer returns, doctors will catch it early.
