Intocable benefit concert

Latin American band Intocable played to a crowd of 4,000 in San Antonio, Texas, and raised $160,000 to help support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.

The benefit concert hosted by Grammy Award-winning Latin American band Intocable on November 16, raised $160,000 to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The sold-out concert was held at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas, and was presented by Univision.

Other performers on the bill included Grupo Massore, Zamorales, Vision and Michael Salgado. The concert was attended by 4,000 adoring fans, who helped make the event the largest crowd for a Latin American concert at the venue. The concert was also the first Latin American concert event where 100 percent of the proceeds benefitted St. Jude.

St. Jude partner and exclusive media partner for the event, Univision, broadcast the show, along with coverage from publications Don Francisco Presenta (Telemundo) and El Gordo y La Flaca (Univision). Events such as this help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, housing, travel or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
