More than 600 supporters from the Wall Street community turned out recently to help raise more than $1.7 million for St. Jude.
The 26th annual Wall Street Taste of New York, held at Guastavino’s on November 17, featured more than 20 local restaurants and spirit vendors, who donated their time and culinary talents to support St. Jude. Since it began, Wall Street Taste of New York has raised more than $42 million for St. Jude.
During the evening, guests heard from St. Jude parents Craig and Ashley, who shared the story of their son Ingram’s journey at St. Jude. Attendees also could bid on a number of premier auction items, such as a unique New York Giants team travel experience, a reservation for two at the famed NOMA in Copenhagen, Denmark, and use of a luxury box at a New York Rangers game.
Linzie Janis, co-anchor of ABC’s World News Now hosted the evening’s sponsor reception.
The event’s committee is made up of more than 60 investment professionals, representing nearly every major firm in the industry.
The Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation, whose namesakes are members of the event committee, recently announced a $20 million commitment to support inpatient care for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases at St. Jude.
