We're grateful for: a young man from Washington, who gives to St. Jude despite his own hardships

All his life, Nathan Ehline has needed a wheelchair and help from a lot of people —  parents, doctors, teachers. Because he's received so much himself, he finds such joy in helping others. It’s why he enjoys giving back by raising funds and awareness for charity, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Because he's received so much himself, he finds such joy in helping others. It’s why he enjoys giving back by raising funds and awareness for charity, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Nathan was born with cerebral palsy, but hasn't let that stop him do whatever he wants in life, including writing music. He's proud of what he's been able to accomplish for St. Jude, too, having raised more than $3,000 through his social media accounts.

"I love to make people happy,” Nathan said. “That’s one of my mottos I live by. We need more people to take care of those less fortunate in life.”
