“I was a regular 17-year-old and then instantly, when I heard, I really didn’t know what to think. It was kind of a shock to hear those words, you know, you have cancer. When I heard it, I felt I was where I was supposed to be at that time. Not only to cure me, but I think to know what I’m passionate about.
