Imagine Academy: Classroom Helper
Classroom Helpers ensure that patients continue their educational studies by helping staff prepare take home and other materials; they assist school program staff with classroom needs to enhance instruction for students.
Requirements
Volunteers must be able to effectively work and communicate with others, have warm, friendly and patient mannerisms, and work without direct supervision.
Current openings
We ask that you sign up for a set, weekly shift, but flexibility is an option.
Monday – Fridays: 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Imagine Academy: Explore Lab
Explore Lab Volunteers ensure that patients continue their educational studies by enriching the classroom experience by facilitating or assisting with exploratory Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) learning activities (labs).
Requirements
Volunteers should have experience in working with children of various ages (KK- 12th grade) in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math or related areas. They must be trained or have a background in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.

Imagine Academy: Homework Helper
Volunteers ensure patients continue their educational studies through one-on-one homework help sessions.
Requirements
Homework helpers should have experience in tutoring/teaching children of various ages in specified subject. Must be fluent and proficient in both Spanish and English if assisting with Spanish homework help. Homework helpers must be trained or have a background in Education. Preferably this would be a retired teacher or a graduate student in the field of Education.
