Shaw Industries has donated more than $10.8 million in fundraising and in-kind donations for St. Jude kids since joining our mission in 2012.
Shaw Industries is a proud partner of St. Jude during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. This spring, Shaw is raising funds and awareness for St. Jude during Mother's Day, Father's Day and Día del Niño. Shaw is also a national sponsor and exclusive flooring provider for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway® program. Shaw provides the flooring for more than 40 Dream Home® markets across the country. Shaw sponsors the floor signing events in all markets by covering the meal and t-shirt costs for each event. Additional annual support of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway® program includes providing secondary prizes in five key markets a year.
In 2013, Shaw launched the Shaw Carpet Cushion collection for St. Jude where $0.18 per square yard is donated to St. Jude. The collection includes five styles and has generated more than $4.2 million to date. Patcraft, a commercial brand of Shaw has partnered with world renowned architect and sustainability leader William McDonough to create a Butterfly Effect carpet tile benefiting St. Jude. Shaw has been a Gold sponsor for five years for St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend®. In addition to the marathon sponsorship, their team members raised more than $94,000 as St. JudeHeroes® in 2018. Shaw Industries is a year-round and deeply engaged partner, activating through employees and their retail partners.
Through their support, Shaw Industries is helping to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
