For the first time, Amazon featured St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its annual Amazon Goes Gold activations for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In addition to branding its customer packages gold during the month of September, Amazon hosted a robotics pop-up camp for St. Jude patient families on campus with STEM activity stations. The interactive experience transformed St. Jude patients into innovative roboticists who pick, pack and ship Amazon packages.

St. Jude patients worked on robots in the Robotics Workshop, navigated the Amazon Leadership Principle fort, created a special gold box and packed their special customer package with lunch that traveled down a conveyor line across the robotics floor. These innovators took home a STEM kit of their choice so they could continue to think big and build our future.
