A carnival-themed event
Throwing a carnival-themed fundraising event can engage and entertain your neighbors and others in your community, all while making an impact on your cause.
Child-led yoga or fitness class
Children have a way of adding creativity and humor to their activities. Consider helping your child host a fitness fundraiser, and include their ideas for making it extra fun.
Character meet-and-greet
Age-appropriate meet-and-greet options could include:
- Adults dressing as cartoon characters and holding interactive performances for families with their young children.
- Older children dressing as characters to help create a magical experience for younger children.
Pancake breakfast event
What better way to start a Saturday than with pancakes (or waffles)? Consider hosting a breakfast-themed fundraising event and having your children help cook, serve, clean up and thank donors for their contributions.
Ice cream social
Ask your kids to help scoop up ice cream and provide DIY-topping options. For added excitement, try offering entertainment or incorporating some type of competition.
Pet talent show
Host a pet talent show where children and their parents show off their furry friends’ creative and unique abilities.
Stargazing night
For an educational and cost-effective way to raise money, try stargazing as a fundraising event. Lay out blankets, make a constellation-themed scavenger hunt, consider providing a small snack and let the sky take care of the rest.

St. Jude gives kids with cancer the chance they deserve
In April 2018, Ashtyn was wobbly and dizzy during cheer practice. An MRI revealed she had a rare type of brain cancer called medulloblastoma.
Ashtyn's oncologist referred her to St. Jude where she underwent surgery, proton therapy and chemotherapy. She's finished with treatment, doing well and returns to St. Jude for regular scans.
Why fundraise for St. Jude?
Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you help give kids with cancer around the world that chance. Together, we can save more lives.
Start fundraising for St. Jude
Because of your support, we can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from generous donors. Join us, and be part of our mission to save more lives.
