Payout and fundraising details
For 26, years, anglers of the Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic have raised over $7.6 million for the kids of St. Jude. Your commitment to fundraising is key to this tournament's success.
Each participating team must raise a minimum of $500. All fundraising must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025.
We're excited to share the new and enhanced payout for the Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic. The tournament will pay back over 100% of entry fees to 20% of the field. All places earning a cash payout are now eligible for an enhanced bonus with $5,000 minimum fundraising. We've also increased the payout levels across the board! Prize packs will be awarded beyond the cash payout.
Additionally, $50 will go to Big Bass and all participating teams will qualify for Big Bass. Big Bass will no longer be collected at the tournament.
Fundraising Minimums and Qualifications
- To participate in the Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic, teams must raise a minimum of $500.
- To qualify for the bonus payout, teams must raise $1,500.
- To qualify for the enhanced bonus payout, teams must raise a minimum of $5,000.

Fundraising is the key to our tournament’s success. Not only does it support the current and future needs of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but it also determines the tournament launch order. Our Day One and Day Two launch orders are determined as follows:
Day One: Team Fundraising Total: the more you fundraise, the earlier your launch spot. The top 10 remains the same for both days, regardless of Day One Weights
Day Two: Day One Weight: Spots 11-100 will launch based on Day One Weight. The top 10 remains the same for both days, regardless of Day One Weights
