The Information Services Internship program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides college students a paid, immersive experience in Healthcare IT. This hands-on internship allows interns to work alongside industry experts on impactful projects that support patient care and drive innovation. Interns will gain experience in IT project management as well as change management—learning how technology impacts people and processes within an organization. Interns are expected to be available Monday through Friday during standard office hours from June 2, 2025, through August 8, 2025, at our Memphis, TN campus, making this an impactful start to a career in IT at one of the world’s leading research hospitals.

Education Required
- Interested candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college program.
- Candidates are accepted from all majors; an interest in computer science or other IT-related fields is preferred 3.0 GPA or above. GPA will be validated by transcripts and communication with the advisor. Any exceptions to these requirements must be approved by the VP of Academic Programs.
- Be entering sophomore, junior, or senior year to be considered.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- The ability to manage priorities and work autonomously as appropriate
- Proven ability to meet deadlines

A virtual interview will take place in the Spring of 2025. Offers will be extended in March. All applicants will be notified of their status by the end of March 2025.
Successful candidates will qualify for a stipend. All other expenses including housing, food, and transportation are the responsibility of the selected interns.
