Due to the COVID-19 virus, St. Jude has suspended all resident elective rotations until further notice.
St. Jude offers unique opportunities for residents from American ACGME-approved residency programs to select 4-week electives in a variety of specialties involving the care of children with malignancies, hematologic disorders, HIV infection or selected immunogenetic disorders. Residents must be in good standing and have the approval of their program director for an elective at St. Jude. An affiliation agreement will be executed between St. Jude and the home institution, and the resident will not receive any compensation from St. Jude for the elective rotation. Residents and fellows may choose electives in the following specialties:
- Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy
- Pediatric Cancer Predisposition and Survivorship
- Pediatric Hematology
- Pediatric HIV Care
- Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care
- Pediatric Infectious Diseases
