Huiqi Wang, MS

Huiqi Wang, MS, is a Statistical Analyst in Global Pediatric Medicine. She received her master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2018, and has data manipulation and analysis experience from both academic and industrial settings.

Prior to joining St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Huiqi worked at STATinMED Research as Statistical Programmer for two years. Her work focused on RWE analyses in a variety of disease areas and provided statistical expertise for Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR) by using real-world large national databases, such as Medicare, Truven MarketScan, Optum and IQVIA. She also helped with creating analytical files using SAS/SQL or Pyspark to perform ad hoc analysis, data validation and quality control.

Her previous experience also includes time as a Research Assistant in the University of Michigan School of Nursing, where she provided statistical analysis in examining the association between adverse pregnancy outcomes and contraceptive use behavior among women in Kenya.

Apart from work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, listening to music, swimming and ice skating.
