Machelle Thomas

Machelle Hill Thomas joined St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2018 to provide administrative support to the Global Pediatric Medicine’s Executive Operations Team, working alongside the executive vice president and department chair, and the director of operations and administration to coordinate strategy development and implementation.

Previously, Machelle had an extensive relationship with the biopharmaceutical industry working on the internal Advertising Agency team responsible for the creative development and management of marketing materials for Abbott Laboratories and AbbVie brands. She also worked as the assistant to both the divisional vice president of Public Affairs, Business Initiatives and the general manager of Marketing Communications and Operations at Abbott and AbbVie, respectively.

Originally from Illinois, Machelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College. She enjoys reading, writing, family time and chasing her spirited French Bulldog, named Amistad.
