Rongrong Liu is a Program Manager, St. Jude Global Operations (Global Agencies) for the department of Global Pediatric Medicine. Rongrong has over 16 years of progressive experience in international work within the nonprofit sphere. She helped build various outreach programs to promote global strategic trade control and nonproliferation efforts at the Center for International Trade and Security (CITS) at the University of Georgia. Rongrong organized programs and activities to increase capacity-building and raise awareness among governments, NGOs and industries. She managed fellowship and training programs for international participants from over a dozen countries. Rongrong has written and published articles on strategic trade control cooperation, government policies in promoting industry compliance, and nonproliferation regimes. She also worked with multinational corporations to improve their internal compliance programs.
Prior to joining CITS, Rongrong worked at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government where she ran various international programs to promote best practices of public administration policies. She has hosted international delegations in Georgia for training and dialogues with universities and local governments.
Rongrong received her PhD in International Relations from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. She also has two master’s degrees, in Economics and Internet Technology, from Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.
