Lisa is a native of Detroit, Michigan.  After graduating from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1985, she began a career in public health, coordinating and managing STD and HIV prevention and care programs in state and local health departments in north Florida, Oklahoma, Chicago, Houston and Memphis.  From 2008-2013, Ms. Krull was the program and quality manager of the Memphis MSA Ryan White program, ensuring that contracted providers achieved the quality measures for medical and supportive services as required by the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and adherence to local standards of care developed by the Ryan White Planning Council. 

Prior to joining the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) in 2017, Ms. Krull served as the research coordinator and business manager for the University of Memphis School of Public Health, developing the research infrastructure and preparing for the school’s initial accreditation with the Association of Schools and Programs in Public Health.
