Ximena García-Quintero, MD, MSc

Ximena García-Quintero is a palliative care pediatrician from Colombia, South America. She is the founder of one of the few pediatric palliative care programs in her country, which she led for five years. She recently moved to the United States and joined the Global Palliative Care Program of St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her interests focus on strengthening pediatric palliative care programs in low- and middle-income countries and, more significantly, creating sustainability strategies for them.

Ximena enjoys traveling and spending family time with her husband and two daughters at the beach and the park.
