Tanvi Deshpande is a program coordinator for Global Analytics in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine. She completed her Master of Public Health at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City in 2023.  

Tanvi is originally from India and moved to the United States to pursue her undergraduate degree. During her education, she worked with the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health and East Harlem Health Outreach Partnerships, a student-run clinic in New York. She also worked with the T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability as a program coordinator. Her master’s thesis was with HaitiChildren orphanage to understand children's role in a qualitative photovoice study and their autonomy during the process.  

In her position at St. Jude, Tanvi is responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects, planning and scheduling project-related efforts, and collecting and analyzing records to prepare reports and standard operating procedures for Global Analytics. She likes working with people who have different mindsets and perspectives.  

Apart from work, Tanvi likes reading, hiking, board games, exploring restaurants around the city and crocheting for her twin nieces.
