Yvonne Carroll has been at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1999. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of Tennessee and a Law degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Yvonne is a researcher, lawyer, nurse, and patient advocate. Her focus is sickle cell disease research, education, and advocacy. Yvonne has presented extensively on sickle cell topics such as health disparities, newborn screening, and SCD nursing education. She has collaborated locally, nationally, and internationally in the development of innovative programs for SCD treatment and education.

Yvonne is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother, and is an active participant in many community organizations and projects.
