About

Ti-Cheng Chang is the Genomics Group Lead of the Center for Applied Bioinformatics at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His research is focused on developing computational genomics methods/workflows and applying them to understand disease etiology.

Research Interests

  • Leverage genomic information to understand the emergence and evolution of diseases
  • Resolve complex genome rearrangement using multiple techniques including single-molecule long-read and short-read sequencing.
  • Develop algorithms to characterize and predict allele types in highly polymorphic genomic loci.
  • Metagenomics and immunogenomics. Investigate the association between the dynamics of metagenomics and clinical outcomes. Identify targetable epitopes for vaccine development.
