At just 3 years old, Elliott is very social. He loves life. He loves the outdoors and riding on his dad’s lawnmower. He even loves coming to St. Jude where he is being treated for leukemia.

He loves to talk to people, and expects that everyone wants to talk to him too.
Families, like Elliott's, will never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.

In 2019, when Elliott was almost 2 years old, he had a cold that kept getting worse. When he developed a high fever and his skin began to show strange bruises, Elliott’s parents hurried him to his pediatrician. Routine bloodwork revealed that he had leukemia.
He was immediately referred to St. Jude where his treatment plan includes two and a half years of chemotherapy.

I am amazed by the positivity of all the people. There is no negativity — it is always comforting and welcoming. You don’t feel like you’re at a hospital. Elliott literally calls it 'home.'
