The St. Jude School Program by Chili’s hosted the annual kindergarten and high school graduations in May. Families and employees cheered and celebrated 12 patients who were honored at the high school graduation ceremony May 10. The graduates completed high school this year while undergoing treatment.
The annual kindergarten graduation took place May 14 as 13 patients who had completed kindergarten during the school year donned caps and gowns. Patients were recognized during the ceremony, which featured a processional of the graduates, the presentation of certificates and a Class of 2019 slideshow.
The School Program allows patients to continue normal educational activities and provides re-entry services to ease them back to their community schools.
