Patients and siblings followed the candy trail through the clinics and corridors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in search of sweet treats during the hospital’s annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat celebration.
Clinicians, scientists and administrative staff from across the institution decorated their Trick-or-Treat stops and disguised themselves in fun and familiar costumes to distribute candy to the children, who were dressed as their favorite animated characters, superheroes and occupations.
One of the most anticipated and festive days at St. Jude, Halloween is coordinated by the hospital’s Child Life Program to enable patients to take part in festivities they might otherwise miss while undergoing treatment.
