Yes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a nonprofit organization. We are a recognized charity and meet the requirements of a Section 501(c)(3) organization of the Internal Revenue Code. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.
There are a number of organizations that use St. Jude in their names, but there is only one St. Jude Children's Research Hospital dedicated to finding cures and saving the lives of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
