The remaining 18 cents support fundraising efforts, such as the St. Jude Walk/Run, and administration costs.

Why donate to St. Jude?
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
St. Jude has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% in 1962 to 80% today. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you can help make cures possible for kids with cancer. Together, we can save more lives.
Your support helps patients like Tam
Tam was four years old when he started to feel sick in 2017. After undergoing a CT scan, he was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma, a fast-growing cancerous brain tumor. Tam underwent surgery in his home state of California before being referred to St. Jude.
Tam's dad said St. Jude soon became a second home. Tam received radiation treatment and chemotherapy before going home less than a year later in 2018. He returns to St. Jude for regular checkups every year.
