Media Room
One of the promises the late entertainer Danny Thomas made when founding St. Jude was that all of the knowledge gained from our cutting-edge research would be freely shared with the rest of the world. In this spirit, St. Jude maintains a vigorous media relations program to keep medical advances in the public eye.
St. Jude has two areas of focus regarding media and public relations. The Media Relations team of the St. Jude Public Relations department works with journalists to develop stories about the hospital’s research, treatment and patient care. The Communications department at ALSAC, the fundraising organization of St. Jude, works with journalists to develop stories about its hundreds of fundraising events and programs that benefit the hospital.
