Dribble-Mania

What is Dribble-Mania?
St. Jude Dribble-Mania with the Harlem Globetrotters is a fun, free physical education basketball curriculum and fundraising program for grades K-8. Your school has the opportunity to win a school assembly with the Harlem Globetrotters for participating. Dribble-Mania is a great way to keep your students physically active and teach social responsibility at the same time. Dribble-Mania’s curriculum includes six basketball activities that students complete on a given date during the month of March in Physical Education classes.

How do St. Jude patients benefit?
Students obtain sponsors from family and friends for their participation and all donations are sent to support the kids of St. Jude.

How do your students benefit?
Students learn the importance of a healthy lifestyle with physical activity through the basketball curriculum provided by St. Jude. For their fundraising efforts, students will earn thank you gifts such as basketballs, T-shirts and water bottles. Two members of the Harlem Globetrotters will make a special school appearance at the top fundraising school in each of our 3 student enrollment categories (<249, 250-499, and over 500 students).

How will St. Jude support your Dribble-Mania program?
Volunteer coordinators will receive a Dribble-Mania resource kit to help plan and organize the event. The kit includes a detailed instructional guide with the basketball curriculum, steps to hosting a successful event, sponsor form envelopes for students' donations, and pre-paid postage return envelopes.

Coordinators can also call the Volunteer Support Team at 1-800-592-3238 Monday through Friday for additional assistance.
