Lyrics to “Different Spokes for Different Folks”

There are many different bicycles for many different folks,
All different colored wheels and spokes,
many different speeds, but one thing they all share…
they're so much fun when you ride with care!

Here are some tips on how to stay safe while your riding!

Wear a helmet, take no chance!
And don’t wear your baggy pants!
Tuck in your laces.
In this song we’ll cover all the bases.

Bicycles and tricycles and unicycles galore.
Many different ways for me to pedal to your door.
Down a mountain through a forest or on an avenue,
On the sand, or the grass, biking is good for you!

Let me give you some more tips for being safe when you ride your
bike, like this one....

Don’t let your friend ride your handlebars.
Don’t ride in the street, because the street’s just for cars.
Keep your eyes on the road and don’t let them stray.
Be extra careful riding past a driveway!

2, 4, 6, and 8,
trikes are cool, training wheels are great!
1, 3, 6, and 9,
when I’m on my bike I’m doing fine!

But please remember,

--Don’t ride your bike when it gets too dark,
Go on into the garage, find a place to park.
Kiss your mom and dad goodnight,
In no time you’ll be riding in the morning light.

In no time it will be morning again!

There are many different bicycles for many different folks,
all different colored wheels and spokes,
many different speeds, but one thing they all share…
they're so much fun when you ride with care!

So much fun when you ride with care

Ride with care.
